yeh, get her a big wheel of vermont cheddar. she will love it. with most women, jewelery is a safe bet, but for a few of us its not. You know her! If she really likes jewelery, that would probably be fine. Flowers are nice too. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ihrig Paul E Cont 88 ABW/EM" <Paul.Ihrig@wpafb.af.mil> To: "CF-Community" <cf-community@houseoffusion.com> Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2003 4:46 AM Subject: romantic ideas needed???

The traditional second anniversary gift is cotton. If she's into kimonos there's this. http://www.elegantanniversary.com/anniversary_gifts_year_2.htm But, personally, I'd prefer one of my husbands cotton t-shirts, wrapped up with a note telling me how way cool he thinks I am and how he'd like to end the night with me wearing nothing but said cotton t-shirt. The contemporary second anniversary gift is china. So, if she's into that sort of thing, you could get her an antique piece of china. If she's more of the fun-loving sort, you could take her to one of those "make your own pottery" places and the two of you could make something together. While not exactly china, it's close enough to catch the theme.

Take her to the Sybiris baby! yeah. Is this something local to me? For those not in the know, this place is marketed as the hotel for those "Romantic Getaways". Each room has a hot tub or a pool. I know it's got chlorine and everything, but yeesh - *shivers*.

You don't need to get complicated: 1. Get her a message - 1 hour - Saturday afternoon. Maybe even a manicure afterward to give you more time 2. While she is getting a message, get flowers and prepare diner 3. Rent her favorite romantic video. Better yet, buy it. Then spend the entire night attending to her every need. Do something whacky. For one of my earlier anniversaries (coming up on 10 now) I bought a bunch of red baloons and inflated them all. Then I made a giant heart on our bedroom wall with them and sent her flowers at work. I had the door shut, and when she got home she was suprised again by the room. 2 year wedding anniversary this weekend. i am coming up blank... need ideas.. have looked at cabins hotels, cheap flights... may just buy jewelry? not sure what the 2 year deal is. cheese? man, im in trouble! =] -paul

You could also try having the house be completely dark with no electric light. Then in the bedroom have a bottle of champaign or white wine in a wine bucket, with 24 lit candles being the only light. Then the two of you can toast the house as it burn down from the candles. larry At 08:57 AM 8/28/2003 -0600, you wrote:

For some women jewelery or flowers will make them happy for a few days but with almost all women a nice spanking new SLK will really do wonders for your relationship. DRE

You could do what this couple did: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/badbride1.html What I love about this story is the bride looks so much like Claire Danes. M
