The question is related to support of regular expression syntax and the form validation functions are completely generated by a framework. So the normal methods of feature checking don't work in this case. I found my answer on the Mozilla Web site. That feature was introduced in JavaScript 1.5. What would really be nice is if Wrox updated their wonderful JavaScript book that I have been using for over seven years now. -Mike Chabot > > > Specifically, I am looking for which browsers support positive > > lookahead regular expression searches, but a nice reference for > > Why not test for the feature, rather than guess based on the user agent ? > > -- > Tom Chiverton > Helping to appropriately monetize fine-grained infrastructures > On: http://thefalken.livejournal.com > > **************************************************** > > This email is sent for and on behalf of Halliwells LLP. > > Halliwells LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under registered number OC307980 whose registered office address is at St James's Court Brown Street Manchester M2 2JF.  A list of members is available for inspection at the registered office.
