How do I get started? I have found an example of what I want to do http://www.commontimes.org/ and the underlying php code that I figure I can convert http://www.idealog.us/2005/10/source_code_for.html Can this be accomplished in CF? Thanks for any suggestions, Doug

Anything PHP can do, CF can do.... oh nevermind ;) Yeah, if you are talking about the live search, it is definitely "do-able". It's really just a "Search Suggest" feature similar to Google's. Here is an example of one done in CF that could easily be converted. http://simplicityweb.co.uk/fusebox/fb41jsmx/index.cfm That example is written in FuseBox4.1 however. I can probably find a NON-Fusebox version that I wrote if you are interested. HTH, -Todd How do I get started? It's sort of like google suggestion, but only sort of.  google isn't displaying search results, just common search criteria and # of results. This gives me a cool idea though about using cfajax in my blog for search. =) Maybe after March Madness!  Gotta keep cranking on my NCAA pool app right now! Rick
