Senior Software Business Developer (sales position) High potential earnings Professionals only Montreal, Quebec

- Must have experience and be able to sell to clients such as Bombardier, GM and
Abitibi Consolidated
- Strong English communication skills, with French as well, preferably bilingual
but emphasis on English
- Capacity to sell software ERP (corporate governance) starting @ $250,000 +
- Will have to deal with full sales cycle, not just opening the account (RFPs,
closings, etc)
- 1st business developer in the company, great opportunity (previous sales were
done by referrals to the company only)
Responsible for:
Managing assigned accounts and leads
Manage and close sales opportunities through forecasting, account resource
allocation, account strategy, and planning
Manage full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to closure
Sales and marketing of existing (and future) products of Corporatek-SPG
Managing marketing and sales material of existing and future products
Presenting and promoting existing and future products to prospects
Proposing and organizing all marketing activities of Corporatek-SPG
Scheduling, organizing and following up on Corporatek-SPG’s Users Group
activities and meetings
Planning and coordinating the production of Corporatek-SPG’s newsletters
Providing feedback to the Development Group re. enhancements requested by
clients
Participating in future product requirement definition meeting with the
Development Group
Coordinating and providing training to new and existing clients
Monitoring releases of new pertinent corporation laws and forms
Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on targeted industries and products to
leverage in sales cycle
Support sales through calls and/or web based presentations to manage product
positioning, and strategies
Increase sales and product visibility through demand generation and targeted
campaigns to existing customers and prospects
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Corporatek-SPG software products and
technologies
Learn and maintain up to date intelligence on competitors and industry trends
Participating in all marketing activities of the Group in North America
Information gathering and reports on conferences and exhibitions
Participating in scheduling and organizing users group activities
Participating in planning and writing of newsletters
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business administration (B.A.) or in science (B. Sc.)
Minimum 5 year experience in account managing and sales.
Ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue
attainment
Excellent communication, strategic and closing skills with customers and
prospects
Aggressive approach to reach revenue goals, positive attitude, excellent
organizational skills and autonomy is a must
Accountability, self-reliance
Ability to deal with pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience with software industry is a plus
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
Bilingual (oral and written English and French, expert level).
