Prolly shoulda talked to her about it first and gone to get the tree together...
But since you've already got the tree...
Set it up (put the tree in the stand, wrap the base, put the lights on).
Light some candles in the room.
Have the lights on the bare tree when she gets home.
Have your boxes of decorations open and ready.
Decorate it together.
Drink a little wine... well, on second thought, let _her_ drink the wine ;-)
Be romantic.
...s'what I'd do. :-)

Dont tell her, put it up, decorate it together when she's surprised. Have
ornaments ready to go with some warm spiced apple cider and christmas music
playing. Maybe some scented candles.
Romantic, cheap evening.

well, wasn't going to get a tree this year or do any thing christamAssy
wife & i are both a bit blue. but then i figured 20 minutes ago wth,
and called a few places.
every thing out of my range. but i figured i start a new job on Monday.
its ok to dip yet again into savings. so i tool over to Lowes, and
they just put up signs for 50% off!
w00t!
i grabbed a 30 dollar tree for 12.
could have done a 7 buck one. but i felt like slpurging..
so now, do i tell my wife.
do i decorate it with out her. or just leave it up for her to do when
she gets home.
i know a lot of people like to decorate em, i dobt mind either way.
just like the smell!
