So a gay man votes against gay rights for 14 years. Why? Because his voting base would not have supported him otherwise. I mean..how hypocritical can you get? Why have we setup politics to be an arena where you must lie and cheat to get by? It's the case worldwide. (though this ZOMG I'm GAY! thing seems to happen mostly in the US...). yeah this has been in the news here. I think you have to have been in Bakersfield to understand. It really belongs in West Texas and is mad that it has to associate with San Francisco ;) not that I am excusing anything. The homophobia that drives this, dunno how that gets cured, but my question is how you can be from there, be gay, and go into politics without foreseeing some sort of problem, is my question. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- ZOMG a "Manhattan Madam," runs for governor... New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo likely will win the nomination for Democratic candidate for governor. He is more popular than any other New York officeholder, with an approval rating of 67 percent last week, according to a Marist poll. Although, in a tidy completion of the political circle, Cuomo will have some competition from the "Manhattan Madam," Kristen Davis, who supplied Spitzer with prostitutes. Davis announced her candidacy for the governor<http://kristindavis2010.com/home>Monday. For a minimum campaign contribution of $100, supporters can "GET FOK'D," which stands for "Friend of Kristen Davis." http://kristindavis2010.com/home That's just classic! "No, my reckless driving while drunk was not my fault. It is YOUR fault, people, for making me lie". Just a spineless politician trying to avoid the consequences of his actions by changing the subject. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Wow are you uninformed. Come on..you have to admit we hear this whole "who's having sex with whom" thing from the US the most :-) Berlusconi is the closest I can recall from Italy, and that was because the guy had a string of mistresses..and he was the sugar daddy for a nubile 18 year old at her coming of age party. I think he had to go through Mistress 9 before the Italian press even began to take any notice. I mean like...there's no European or Asian version of this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/28/outrage-documentary-activ_n_192476.html I also didn't say anything about being Barbaric...although I am sure you have a big high powered rifle somewhere in your closet and if you could you'd get an AA-12...to shoot rabbits with. I'll pass it onto some people I know in the Ministry of Health and see what comes back. AFAIK there are several campaigns that specifically mention sex, HIV and Condom use that ran a year or so ago. The Conventional US Army (non-SF/Ranger/Airborne) doesn't shoot enough to get high accuracy, neither do conventional British or Canadian forces. The Special Operations forces in the Army, and the US Marines train to a far higher standard. Stop being snarky. I worked with both the British and the Canadians in Afghanistan, while I was certainly impressed by individuals, as a group they are no better than we are. against gay rights for 14 years. Finally we had her come in and show us exactly what was wrong. She brought in this antique laptop (64 colours and a 640 by 480 screen). opened up the training app and proceeded to measure the button positions with a ruler.
