Isn't that supposed to be the mark of Cain or some crap like that?
I saw this on the inner webs the other day:
'If Adam and Eve were white, and evolution doesn't exist, where did black
people come from'

I'd go for Douglas Adam's theories, either with the mice or we were
populated originally by bureaucrats, hair dressers and telephone
disinfectors.

Well, technically, if we follow general relativity then there is no time; all
events that did or are going to happen ... have.
Thus God is simply a part of all events ever to be in this universe.

It's cold AND dark half the year there.

then again what is the greater miracle, the guy in the white robe
going all Jehovah on something, or some small tweak to some DNA
happening hundreds of millions or even billions of years ago that
resulted in Christ (assuming he existed at one point).

There is a lot of trippy stuff out there; fractals being one of them. One
Love, One Energy. If you think about it like that, every molecule could be
a living "thinking" thing. Nothing it truly solid right?
So... We're in the matrix!

EVERYTHING was created out of Big Bang billions of years ago. If there was
actually a God do you seriously think he was going to wait billions of year
for Humans to evolve?

was better when we dragged knuckles.

I get that part but why do we always pretend it's all religion and
then clarify we mocking a handful.
Isn't it tiring to mock the few that might not even really exist? At
least not here anyway.

We're making fun of the argument used by some religious fundamentalists that
God has planted evidence of evolution to test our faith. We were speaking
completely facetiously...as I thought was obvious.

First assumption is that there is a god. I'm still waiting for
verifiable evidence that doesn't use a religious document or a
collection of 8th century BCE tribal myths. Second this is Sam. What
else do you expect his misunderstanding even the most simple of
statements as it passes through his ideological filters.

This is a really cool research project. Scientists started out with
single celled yeast and decided to look into whether selective
pressure could evolve multi-cell organisms under lab conditions. They
took a really simple approach, simply selecting yeast that settled to
the bottom of a perturbed solution (which tend to be heavier or
clumped cells) to seed the subsequent generation. After only 60 days
(generations), they found strains that were dominated by evolved cell
clusters. A bunch of other fascinating behavior observed too.

I do loves me some applied evolution.
