...and I, for one, think we ought to give him the opportunity. I'm sure there will be 72 virgins awaiting him in Heaven upon his Martyrdom. http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/david/santorum-ill-die-stop-same-sex-marriages Cheers, Judah

well, this guy went on to be Prime Minister of Canada, and turned out to be a but of an asshole. But on this point, he completely nailed it: "there's no place for the state in the bedrooms of the nation." http://archives.cbc.ca/politics/rights_freedoms/topics/538/' ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

Trudeau knew what he was doing. About a year later he married a hottie over 20 years younger than himself. I have a lot of respect for Trudeau. His son looks like he's following in his father's footsteps. Or at least giving the finger to the media like dear old dad. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

Trudeau was the best leader Canada has had in modern times. Hands down. On Tue, Feb 28, 2012 at 9:29 PM, Larry C. Lyons <larryclyons@gmail.com>wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

OK. I don't chime in on any of this crap because yeah, it's politics... but holy crap REALLY?!?!?! This guy doesn't belong anywhere near being nominated for presidential candidate. He belongs in an insane asylum. I mean REALLY?!?!?!? Even throwing out the contraception argument and the gay marriage stuff - he sounds like a total lunatic! <shudders>

This lunatic is currently leading in early returns in Michigan, 42% to 39% over Romney with 8% of precincts reporting. Yes. It has come to this. Judah ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

Looks like Romney pulled out Michigan by a couple percentage points. Given that he is from the state and outspent Santorum 2 to 1, it certainly doesn't look good but at least he won. I guess. Judah ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

If it were not for Sanctimonious' statements on the trail and a very good Romney opposition research that dug up a lot of Santorum's past statements, it would be Romney whining about the evil media ruining his chances in Michigan. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

A small part of me hopes he gets the nomination. It will make deciding who to vote for that much easier. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

Well ... Really this is what makes America great. Granted you might not like his opinions, but he's pretty honest and pretty consistent about them.  And America says, hey, That's ok.  You can run for president and people might overlook your hatred of women ... Er ... Views. The truth is, I find him a likable and reasonable guy, it's just he and I would quickly run out of things to discuss. Oh, and he's nothing like the rest of America On Feb 28, 2012, at 4:55 PM, "Erika L. Rich" <elrich@ruwebby.com> wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

he lost me at "women's health care is a bad thing". He'd be fine as the guy two streets over that runs community events at the church. I really worry about what he'd do with power if he got it though ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

I could almost see sharing a beer with the guy, rather make that a glass of communal wine. (Must resist a very bad pun here) ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
