In Obama's book, "Dreams from my Father", he recounts an incident when he was a child, in Indonesia, where he ate dog. He recalls it being "tough". The book was published in 1995. I guess it took the Republican talking heads a long time to finally read all the way through it. (All those big words and all). These people as a class are so unbelievable silly. (politicians and the remora that feed off them) On Fri, Apr 20, 2012 at 10:08 AM, Camer ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Why do you have to insult republicans? It's funny with out the politics. BTW, Obama probably didn't read his own book either. . ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- In all fairness, this is probably coming out because of the stepped up use of the Mitt Romney dog incident. I have seen a lot of conservabots broadcasting this like Obama did some horrible sin at age 9 (yes,,,compared to an actual act of abuse by and adult Mitt). It is kinda funny in an adolecent way... Eric ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- BTW...Dog (and cat for that matte) in many countries is considered starvation food. Food gets scarce and there go the family pets... It's pretty common in undeveloped and underdeveloped countries around the world. Sheeesh tough crowd. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- btw they don't eat labs and poodles and shit. there is a food dog raised for just that. no, FiFi does not become dinner. lol. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- I didn't insult Republicans. I mocked Republican taking heads. Who, along with all other talking heads, should be mocked at every opportunity. Is this really what we should be talking about? Are there really no honest policy disputes or bad decisions by Obama that can be the focus of the campaign? I have a list of they need one. Is 3rd grade snickering at inconsequentials really the best we can do here? If this were truly an important issue, why wait 17 years to mention it? And, although the Romney dog on car incident is equally inane and worthless, at least it points to a personal choice as an adult. This is why I have so little respect for the political class, and their lapdogs, and the people who drone on and on about them. Silly, the lot of them. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- I ate dog one time. We'd stopped at a chip stand while on patrol and the guys thought it would be funny to get me the dog kabob. Wasn't bad. I've eaten all kinds of stuff, snake, caribou, bear, alligator. Shit now I'm hungry. On Fri, Apr 20, 2012 at 12:29 PM, Judah McAuley <judah@wiredotter.com>wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- I tried it when I was at Ft. Lighten up. It's not a childish snicker, it's funny ribbing. Get over yourself. You claim to be a moderate but show your true colors anytime some makes a joke about a Dem. Relax. . ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Yup. I mean, I get it, but it's a bit of a stretch. It tries just a little too hard.
