Hi all. As it has been well-documented I am still in the market looking for that next position. I am not broadcasting for opportunities though, but instead looking for alternative avenues or ideas you may have to aid me in my job search. I have done the job boards, craigslist, devbistro, some job boards on other developer sites. Yet, it seems like there is other things I can try. Yes, I am trying networking too, but to be honest I did a lot of damage with my constant posting and for that I apologize. The networking will take some time. So please shoot any ideas you may have. If you do send me opportunities you do so on your own will. I just want to make clear on that because I would not want to offend the great people who provide this service for us. Thank you in advance for any assistance provided. Michael I may be able to provide some assistance, but I need to know what you meant by this first: "If you do send me opportunities you do so on your own will. I just want to make clear on that because I would not want to offend the great people who provide this service for us." I'm sorry, but I just do not understand what you were trying to convey with that statement. Thanks On Thu, 2011-01-27 at 11:37 -0500, Michael Firth wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- As an aside, the repetitive postings originating on this one poster / topic over the past months have made me second guess maintaining a subscription to this list. I am an employer, so I would think that's not a good thing from a job seeker's perspective. I would encourage the admins to do something to minimize the noise and unnecessary repetitive posts. I need all the help I can get, but I also don't want to make people any more upset. In other words, feel free to send me opportunities, but at the same time this post is not a request for a job. Your frequent postings over the years have alienated any prospective employer who reads them. And your current bout of sarcasm and criticism of posters on the CF-TALK list isn't buying you any friends either. You need to take a long hard look at unprofessional your behavior on these lists are, because if you continue in your current path, you will never find work in the CF area.
