--------------------------------------------- JOB TITLE:  Team Lead Development (Coldfusion) SALARY RANGE:  DOE LOCATION: Hawthorne, CA only CONTACT: William.Belden@REOTrans.com --------------------------------------------- GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: --------------------------------------------- This position is responsible for managing development personnel, hardware, and software resources through projects.  This position will have a variety of responsibilities including technical lead, mentor, manager, and strategic planner. --------------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: --------------------------------------------- • Work with Project Managers to prioritize and plan software change release cycles. • Develop a detailed project plan for development and work with project manager to negotiate scope/schedule and prioritize features • Work with project management to prioritize and plan software change release cycles • Build, lead and manage a development team of direct reports in terms of recruiting, career development, day to day task management and performance appraisals • Deliver timely career development feedback to direct reports • Allocate resources to development projects and track conflicts and dependencies • Manage projects assigned to the development group to completion through the design development, testing and application rollout phases within established timeframes • Serve as the primary technical development contact to senior and cross-functional leadership • Work with project managers and other development managers to design and develop new product solutions and enhance existing ones • Participate in cross-functional leadership meetings to relay status and discuss issues and conflicts --------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: --------------------------------------------- • Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or related field • 6+ years as a web application developer with at least 2 of those years in a leadership or management role with 5+ direct reports. • Direct experience in high-volume, large scale web-based applications. • Building ColdFusion applications in a code managed, multi-tier development environment with process release management in place. • Expertise at driving projects through the SDLC. • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
