Senior Coldfusion Developer (Boston)

Advanced Media Productions is seeking a talented, self-motivated Coldfusion developer with a minimum of 6 years experience developing commercial content websites, ecommerce websites, Intranets and web applications using Coldfusion and SQL database server. Responsibilities: - Work with a team of web designers and Internet marketing specialists to design, build, deploy and maintain commercial content websites, ecommerce websites, web applications and Facebook apps - Act as a resource at developing, analyzing and interpreting complex system requirements or web-based applications using Coldfusion and SQL database server - Perform trouble-shooting and programming analysis of system issues, including identification and resolution of security related events Job Requirements: - 6+ years hands-on development experience with Coldfusion MX and Microsoft SQL database server. Experience with Adobe AIR and Flex a plus - Minimum of 4+ years of architecture experience developing B2B/B2C ecommerce web sites, web applications and Intranets using Coldfusion - Experience with test-driven development and related technologies (JSUnit/CFUnit) - Significant hand-on experience with other programming languages, including PHP - Familiarity with Facebook, Facebook API, MySpace/OpenSocial and LinkedIn API desirable - Experience with Mach II, Coldbox and/or other frameworks - Strong DHTML, JavaScript (JQuery), CSS, AJAX and XML skills - Understanding of coding methods, best practice and full software development life cycle - Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies with minimum supervision and general passion for technology and software development - Excellent organizational skills, ability to tightly manage time and project responsibilities and able to work on multiple projects at one time - Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills - Strong experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment - Current eligibility to work in the United States - BS in Comp Science or equivalent This is a full-time, on-site staff position.
