ColdFusion/Java Developer (Rockville, MD) Long Term

ColdFusion/Java Developer Immediate Hire Position Type: Long Term Contract; 2 year minimum Location: Rockville, MD Pay Rate: 45-55/hr. Candidates MUST be EAD, Green Card, OR US Citizens CLEAN BACKGROUNDS: NO bankruptcies NO foreclosures, NO Criminal background Requirements *         Develop new Web applications through packaged and customized applications *         Maintain and enhance existing integrated Web applications *         3-5 years experience in Web development using ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML *         1-2 years experience in Java and Open Source tools *         Work in several programming languages including Java, SQL, ColdFusion, and JavaScript *         Must have working knowledge of Oracle 10g *         Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers *         Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills *         Must possess superior skills in SQL *         Must possess intermediary skills in Oracle 10g *         Experience in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity *         Any experience in graphic design is a plus *         Perform complete testing of Web applications-unit and system, engaging users as necessary *         Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use *         Team player, willing to explore new ways to solve business problems *         Develop Web-based applications, website enhancements, database-backed Websites and Web layout Work within a team environment to address the programming needs of Visionary Web clients *         Participate in processes concerning the architecture of new applications *         Code Web pages utilizing HTML, XHTML and CSS by following industry standards *         Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines *         Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications *         Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized *         Experience with hardware and software issues *         Work on multiple tasks as directed by the Systems work stream lead *         Reviews, analyzes and modifies Web systems including documenting, designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining as specified by team management *         Install or customize modules and features for Open Source and proprietary software packages *         Work with Apache and Microsoft IIS web servers *         Interact with servers using FTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols Ryan Pustilnik Technical Recruiter ALTA IT Services rpustilnik@altaits.com Main Phone: 301-740-2110 Cell:  410-703-9776 Fax: 301-948-4596
