Mandatory Requirements: --Three to Five (3-5) years experience in development in a Coldfusion MX 6, 7, 8, .Net, VB.Net, Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, Microsoft Reporting Services 2005. --Three to Five (3-5) years experience in the use of Oracle 9i, 10g, MS SQL Server, version 2000 and 2005, and stored procedures. --Three to Five (3-5) years experience in the understanding of web servers (IIS), application servers, and other elements of an internet/intranet infrastructure --Two to Four (2-4) years experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET with C# as the programming language. Desirable Experience: --Experience in developing Public Sector Health and Human Service applications. --Ability to communicate on a business level with other system developers, systems analysts, project managers, system testers, user support desks, and server managers. --Experience in delivering a working product on a rapid development, test, and deployment lifecycle. --Experience in translating business needs quickly and accurately into production software. Job Description: --Develop new applications and develop major enhancements to existing applications according to specification and development best practices. --Work closely with application analysts and project managers in order to ensure that the new functionality meets the agency's business need and is thoroughly tested and debugged. --Implement the new functionality in a production environment, quickly resolve any production issues that may arise, and transfer technical knowledge of the new functionality to production maintenance staff.
