Jacobs Interactive is a web design/development group in downtown Minneapolis.   Our mission is to provide innovative Web-based business and marketing solutions to the Jacobs Management family of companies. The Jacobs Management group consists of Genmar Holdings, Inc, FLW Outdoors, Watkins Inc., and Jacobs Management Corporation. JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the development team, the qualified candidate will participate in architecting, maintaining and implementing web solutions for both private and public facing web sites. This position will perform high quality web development tasks utilizing ColdFusion 8, SQL Server 2000/2005, Flash and Flex 3.0.  The projects will meet user requirements, based on specifications provided by the project manager for the task. QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) REQUIRED: Server side scripting such as ColdFusion (1+ years). Knowledge of relational databases and concepts Skills using Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Skills in Flash and Flex a plus but not necessary.  We are willing to train the right candidate. Understanding of XML/XSL and related technologies Capable of operating effectively with a team in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven development environment. Must have good communication skills with the ability to articulate programming concepts to a variety of audiences.
