Contact: Reed Marvin reed.marvin@triopsec.com I have been developing ColdFusion applications full-time since 1998. Open to either telecommute (preferred) or will work on site (expenses paid). A couple of my most recent work examples are: http://www.mrinkman.com Total business system written from scratch in ColdFusion over Microsoft SQL Server databases. Public e-commerce front end with over 30 websites supported by a single, secure intranet back-end through which all business processes (from order processing to inventory) are handled. Single-form new dynamic website creation, distributors, affiliate program, multiple payment processors, domestic and international shipping, and WSYWYG content management system are just a few of its many features. http://3bde.scsg.org Public website and extranet for the 3rd Light Brigade of the South Carolina State Guard, built from scratch using ColdFusion over a Microsoft SQL Server database.. Photo gallery with automatic sizing and thumbnail creation of uploaded pictures. XML feeds providing current weather and other operations intelligence. Granular user rights system for page editing and access. Recruiting system to track status and progression of recruiting leads entered in website form. Online file library with file storage outside of web-accessible directories. Many more features, such as a dynamic "ribbon rack builder" using a combination of DHTML and ColdFusion. My previous positions held at other companies: 2/2002 – 4/2007: Chief Information Officer; Solomon Ink & Banner, Inc.; North Charleston, S.C. Executed every technical aspect of bringing our products (generic and remanufactured ink and toner cartridges) to market on the Internet: budgeted all IT resources; managed network and desktop systems; designed relational databases; and programmed ecommerce and internal business applications. Continually researched evolving Internet technologies, assessed their applicability to our company model, integrating beneficial ones into our systems. Interactive Week named our flagship website, mrinkman.com, one of the Top 500 E-commerce Websites. 9/1998 – 2/2002: Chief Information Officer; elink corp, Inc.; Charleston, S.C. Managed a team of web designers and programmers. Programmed ColdFusion Web applications and designed databases for clients. Designed, installed and managed TCP/IP networks for elink corp and clients. Managed Web, email and application servers. Worked with vendors to design solutions and handled all purchasing of IT equipment. 8/1997 – 9/1998: Internet Analyst; Mantek Services, Inc.; North Charleston, S.C. Collaborated with clients to design Internet solutions for their business, including web applications based on ColdFusion and Microsoft Access databases, email, and connectivity. Implemented routers, switches, firewalls and proxy servers, as well as email and web servers. Professional references available upon request. Contact: Reed Marvin reed.marvin@triopsec.com
