ColdFusion Web Developers FT or Contract (LA Metro)

Reporting to the Director of Internet Services & Development, the NNA Cold Fusion Web Developer will work with a talented, fast-paced, in-house Web application development team to define, develop, maintain and document NNA Web sites, eCommerce operations, online training courses and other interactive applications and services.   Requirements •  Three to five years plus years experience building high volume, scalable, dynamic Web sites and eCommerce store fronts utilizing Cold Fusion rapid development platform and SQL database systems to large-scale public facing, consumer based web applications •  Advanced experience with ColdFusion 8 or MX utilizing object-oriented, component based architecture and design •  Strong RDMS knowledge with an emphasis in MS-SQL utilizing SQL programming (i.e. stored procedures, dynamic SQL, views, and triggers) •  Experienced with HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript and at least a general working knowledge of XML and XSLT •  Capable of being responsible for design decisions and implementation of enhancements/fixes within the projects assigned •  Responsible for project deliverables: on-time and meeting requirements and quality expectations •  Carry out software development life cycle activities, applying best practices, and adhering to standards and processes given •  Capable of working with team lead, managers, and/or project management to recommend effort estimates, functionality and process improvements •  Extensive experience working with: •  Web Servers:  Cold Fusion 7 or 8 rapid development platform •  Databases:  Microsoft SQL Server •  Languages:  CFML, Active X, Java, JSP, JavaScript, SQL •  OS:    Windows (NT, 2K, XP) •  Software  Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, CS3 E-mail resume to:   employment@nationalnotary.org
