Software Engineer

We want to get to know you! Software Engineer Work as part of a team of engineers to design, develop and implement highly scalable and reliable enterprise n-tier distributed systems. You will contribute to the design and development of our enterprise class email technology platform. You will contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle. Position Details: •  Work as a member of a team responsible for the design and implementation of a high performance, mission critical email technology platform. •  Design advanced load balancing and fault tolerant algorithms. •  Develop distributed systems management and performance monitoring capabilities. •  Write “best seller” functional and technical specifications. •  Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development methodology and processes. Position Experience: •  BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required. •  3-5 years of experience developing high performance system software. •  3-5 years of experience developing software with C, C++ or Perl is required. •  Strong knowledge of the UNIX development platform.  Experience with Linux and open source technologies considered favorably.   •  Experience using relational databases required. •  Strong understanding of Internet architectures including Web Servers, XML and Web Services. •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
