ColdFusion Programmer Needed - Santa Monica, CA

ColdFusion programming position available.  Must be willing to work on site at client location in Santa Monica, CA. Pay is commensurate with experience and skill level – up to $50.00 per hour. Qualifications: - 3-5 years experience with ColdFusion (Certified ColdFusion Developer preferred) - Knowledge of CF functions, CF tags, custom tags, user defined functions, complex structures and data types - Relational database and SQL skills, and the ability to understand and architect database structures in order to formulate complex queries Additional Preferred Skills: AJAX, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, Graphic Design, General Programming Skills, Analyzing Information , Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Software Design, Website/Software Debugging, Website Development Fundamentals, Documentation, Testing. Other duties include: •    Maintain existing applications currently designed and developed by Aixen Solutions. •    Evaluate and implement new features, functions, ideas and initiatives. •    Deploy new services and applications which provide added value for existing clients. •    Confirms program operation by conducting tests under various platforms; modifying program sequence and/or codes as needed. •    Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic. •    Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions or works with Project Coordinator to develop documentation. •    Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions. •    Maintains client confidentiality and protects operations by keeping information confidential. •    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. •    Continuously work with Project Coordinator/Manager to understand timelines for projects, needs and desires, translate into project specifications and ultimately build/implement the projects.
