Database Programmer – SQL Server

We are a startup based in McLean VA looking for a senior database programmer with a demonstrated track-record building and maintaining large-scale data warehouses and data-driven web applications. The preferred candidate will: - be a college graduate in computer science or have equivalent demonstrated experience. - be well-versed in integrating large volumes of disparate data (based on business rules that you will help define). - prior experience with data modeling, SQL and XML - particularly importing of various data feeds in various formats (flat files, xml, etc.) - demonstrate innovative and independent thought as well as being self-motivated with the ability to solve difficult problems. We are a small team so it is necessary for each team member to be able to wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with web application development – particularly with Adobe Flex and/or AJAX techniques.
