Newlin Associates has been retained to conduct a search for qualified candidates
for the role of Applications Developer. Founded in 1998 and located in Napa, our
cleint is the leader in on-demand, transaction-driven business systems for
artisan wineries, which choose them to manage . . .
* new wine releases,
* ecommerce and offline orders,
* allocations and personal product offerings,
* wine club shipments and more.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring the following professional and personal qualities:
• 5+ years professional experience building secure, data-intensive applications.
o Must be well versed and bring extensive experience in.ASP, ColdFusion and MS
SQL, as well as in database design, performance tuning and monitoring.
o Prior hands-on experience with another object oriented, compiled language such
as Pascal, Java, Visual Studio or .NET is preferred.
o Windows and/or web service development experience is a plus.
o Must bring strong project management skills.
o Demonstrated ability to take projects from beginning to end is required.
o Must have ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and
adjust accordingly for urgent matters and adjusting priorities.
• Must be a curious, passionate, resourceful, flexible and well-rounded
technologist with maturity, breadth of knowledge and business savvy.
o Must be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude and a proven ability to manage
multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
o Must have a reputation for paying relentless attention to detail and quality
assurance.
o Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Must demonstrate Integrity and professionalism in all actions; this includes
having a solid appreciation of the +/- impact your development efforts and
involvement have on the overall product, on client experiences and satisfaction,
on your teammates and so forth.
• Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or
related technical field is required.
