This contract has an initial 4-8 wk on-site portion (in Sunnyvale, CA) followed by a long-term, part-time, off-site support/dev portion. (On-site portion) A CF5/fusebox 2 app, needs to be isolated from another CF5 app, to which it is loosely coupled. Then it will be placed on a new box and upgraded to CF8. This same box will also be getting SQL 2008 and the data moved over. We'd also like to convert all the database queries to stored procs.  This is a very low traffic app, which is for uploading and downloading files. The first CF5 app mentioned above has already been converted to CF8 but it hasn't gone live yet. When enough knowledge sharing has been accomplished so that the programmer feels comfortable supporting and documenting the first app, (Off-site portion) then he can go off and do the support remotely. This support will entail helping with the testing and promotion of this app to production as well as on-going technical support for the app as a backup for the on-site developer.  The plan is to make this on-going support, plus other coding assistance, amount to about 40 hours a month.
