----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Paul I have a small quick job if your interested. I need to parse a xml structure sent to my page. I need the data fields inserted into a sql database which I can take from the variables created. <!DOCTYPE ownershipEvent [ <!ELEMENT ownershipEvent ( #PCDATA | ownerIdentifier |  purchaseDate |   productIdentifier |  instanceIdentifier |  purchaseActivityIdentifier |   minIdentifier |  sequenceNumber |  reasonCode |  reasonMessage |   vendorPurchaseIdentifier )* > <!ATTLIST ownershipEvent effective CDATA #IMPLIED                 timestamp CDATA #REQUIRED                 type CDATA #REQUIRED > <!ELEMENT instanceIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT minIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT ownerIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT productIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT purchaseActivityIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT purchaseDate ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT sequenceNumber ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT reasonCode ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT reasonMessage ( #PCDATA ) > <!ELEMENT vendorPurchaseIdentifier ( #PCDATA ) > ]> ownerIdentifier  = SUBID minIdentified = Mobile number (MIN) productIdentifier = The product type, which is an amalgamation of 4 fields, product type, product category, product rate and one other that slips my mind. instanceIdentifier = The Instance ID that was purchased.
