User-Interface Designer Contract/Temp

We have an immediate need for a skilled user-interface designer. The primary responsibility is to provide a unique graphical UI for a under-development corporate intranet.  We've got the business layer, and data layer underway, using CF and MachII, but have realized that we are missing the unique talent required to design a clean interface that we can call "our own".  We need a person who can interface with our staff, ask the right questions, and create a look & feel that meets our needs while providing suggestions for layout, content and innovative user-experience enhancements. Flash/Flex integration experience is desirable, however the site needs to be generally clean, and quick to load. This is temporary/contract work, but we are looking for someone who can continually be available for additional support and improvements.  This person would need to build us a dynamic shell that our developers could manipulate as the site expands.
