Job Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated Junior ColdFusion Software Engineer to join
our technical / product team at 6FigureJobs.com (http://www.6FigureJobs.com). You will be involved in the
development of new applications to support our business strategies. You will be
responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of our web site and
will work directly with the Technical and Product leads.
The site is a Windows based, ColdFusion/SQL Server product. Ideal candidate will
have had experience with all aspects of the Full Project Life Cycle, including QA
and design. Candidate will have worked on Internet-based applications and have
at 3 - 5 years of development experience with ColdFusion 7 (or higher version)
and SQL Server.
Technical Requirements:
* BS in computer science or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years web-based software development experience
* 3-5 years Full Project Life Cycle experience
* 3-5 years of ColdFusion 7 or higher
* ColdFusion Administration a plus
* Solid experience with Verity Collections, CFMAIL, ColdFusion task scheduling,
Server Administration
* 3-5 years of SQL Server 2000+ design with knowledge of stored procedures and
triggers
* 3-5 years of working experience with client side web technologies
* 3-5 years of Web design
* Java a plus
* Recognition and observance of industry-standard architectural and coding
standards
* Understanding of current best-practices in software development
* Knowledge of email marketing tools/systems (such as Lyris, StrongMail, YesMail)
a plus
