Apex Systems currently has a opening for a ColdFusion Developer position located
in the Falls Church, VA area.
One of Apex's largest government integrators are in need of strong ColdFusion
candidates for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity.
Candidates must be clearable and must provide proof of US Citizenship to obtain a
DOJ Public Trust.
The position is an immediate need and further details/qualifications are listed

Coldfusion Developer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining Engineering
Change Requests (ECP), then performing the necessary work activities to meet the
ECP requirements; participating in continuous process improvement activities
associated with enhancements to the application[s].
The position requires direct interface with the customer to gather and refine
requirements. The Programmer/Analyst primary responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
Plans, conducts and coordinates the development of complex and or diverse
computer programs, associated documentation, block diagrams, logic flow charts
and coding;
Provides technical advice or consultation on programming applications to other
staff members;
Participates in developing programming and documentation standards as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience:
B.S. or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
Qualifications:
Excellent client interace skills including written and verbal communications.
Must have experience with Cold Fusion 8
JavaScript Libraries (extjs, JQuery)
Strong SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions and analyitical skills
Familiar with configuration management tools
SDLC environment experience preferred.
Some JAVA capabilities is a plus.
Security Clearance:
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Candidates selected will be
subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to sensitive information
