Coldfusion Developer with Coldbox assignment with State of Oregon

I am looking for a Coldfusion developer with Coldbox methodology experience for a

Agency Description:
The Oregon Employment Department (OED) promotes the employment of Oregonians
through developing a diversified, multi-skilled work force, promoting quality
childcare, and providing support during periods of unemployment. OED Information
Technology Services (ITS) maintains mission critical legacy mainframe systems in
a COBOL development environment; a complex suite of web services utilizing
Internet/Intranet environments; mission critical Interactive Voice Response and
imaging systems.
Job Description and Duties:
The workload and timeline for this project is aggressive due to the need to
complete the work within the 2010 timeframe. The overall design has been
completed, the software components and interfaces have been defined, and
development is underway. The person in this contract position must be productive
immediately by bringing an expert knowledge of ColdFusion and ColdBox, along with
substantial experience participating in the development of large cross-platform
applications. The contractor will be expected to participate in a
multi-disciplined project team meeting tight development deadlines while
maintaining high quality through ongoing unit and integration testing, and code
reviews.
Specific Duties include the following:
- Prioritize, coordinate and develop specified software components
- Develop and consistently run Unit/System Testing on changed software components
- Active and production participation in Code Reviews
- Correction of defects as they are found
- Regular status reporting
- Correction of Specification as documentation defects are found

and code reviews. This contract position is funded from the SOAP project budget.
REQUIRED Knowledge & Experience:
- 8+ years development experience
- 3+ years experience with programming web based applications
- Experience working from specifications and holding to a solid change process
- Experience in coding unit testing for software components
- Experience in code review processes and enforcement
- Understanding how to translate business rules to well defined and documented
development artifacts
- IT experience working in large complex private or public sector organizations
REQUIRED Skills & Abilities:
- Web Development expertise or abilities using ColdFusion
- Web Development expertise or abilities using ColdBox
- Unit testing skills
- Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Good documentation skills
- Demonstrated initiative in delivery of well structured and documented code
- Code reviewing skills
- Actively manages the coding documentation to ensure changes are made properly
and integrated for maintainability
- Ability to work independently
- Handles confidential information appropriately
- Meets tight timelines
- Attention to detail
- Analytical with a strong work ethic
- Problem solving skills
Desirables:
- Knowledge in AJAX, J-Query and CSS/HTML
- Knowledge and experience with user interface designs
- General understanding or experience with Oracle PL/SQL and stored procedures
- Cross platform integration tools for the IBM Mainframe platform include
MQSeries, WebCICS and JMS
- Experience with coding to specifications
- Experience with government agency programs
- Experience with systems engineering activities
- Experience working with IT technical team members and understands IT
terminology
- Good communication skills and a customer service focus
- Adheres to government agency standards and templates
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with peers, and
project management to meet specifications
- Critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information to guide
the development team to a decision
- Initiative and accountability for achieving results
