'Reporting to the Marketing Technology the Web Developer works
collaboratively with Technical & Marketing Teams, vendors, and other
personnel to plan, prototype, develop, test and deploy web based
applications that support and extend sales and marketing applications.
The Web Developer is an integral team member, in all phases of Web sites
and Web applications.
'This position should understand the issues related to product
marketing, marketing editorial content delivery in multiple media,
including online and flash.
'Experienced developer of e-commerce framework, and integration with
multiple back end systems.
The Web Developer position will be primarily responsible for the
following:
' Key implementer for sales and marketing technology, E-Commerce, Online
Catalog
' Working with technical marketing leadership to implement high quality,
scaleable web content authoring applications.

Authoring, HTML, Javascript, AJAX, Database, Oracle
'7+ years web development experience, preferably in an educational
publishing environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering , or equivalent work experience.
' Proven track record of implementing large scale web applications, with
exceptional quality on tight deadlines.
' Proven track record of delivering web applications which focus on
e-commerce applications
' Proven experience implementing a broad array of e-commerce focused
applications:
Shopping Cart
Subscription Management
Encryption, SSL
Credit Card Processing
Product pages, navigation, suggestive selling
Integration with third party applications helpful.
