(JOB) ColdFusion Developer (Chesapeake, VA)

Summary of Opportunity: UrsaNav is a diversified technology company focused on delivering innovative engineering, information technology, and associated professional services and solutions. We are looking for a Systems Analyst/Programmer with the ability to enhance and maintain existing web systems as well as design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement web-based applications. Duties include performing requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing of web software applications, and configuration management. Must work effectively, refining details that will optimize a web user's experience. Must be able to create mockups and prototypes, synthesize feedback, and develop a client-ready software release. Produce written source documentation and status reports. Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms and provide feasibility assessments for project implementations and use. Position Requirements: • All candidates MUST have good communication skills - they will be interacting directly with the customer so need to be able to communicate effectively. • Strong ColdFusion development experience with Software/Web/Applications Development. • Experience with XML, CSS, JavaScript, Oracle Database 10/11g, JQuery JavaScript Library & UI Extensions preferred. • Experience working with Code Repository such as CVS/Subversion preferred. • Experience applying the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred. • Excellent PC skills; MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
