A Philadelphia software company is currently seeking a Lead Coldfusion Developer
with experience in developing large scale web-based software product using
ColdFusion, Fusebox 5.5, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and advanced technologies,
including Ajax, Web services, and CFCs. Candidates will have the opportunity to
influence and help the continued development of an industry-leading web
application product that is revolutionizing the higher education industry with
global outreach and innovative educational implications. The position will
include the adaptation, customization, and integration of web-based software
product. The candidate should have the skills to translate business requirements
to technical specifications for team development of user-friendly, effective
code. The candidate should have strengths in product finishing, QA, software
development, and methodologies such as CMMI. This position requires management of
a team of software developers and effective communication with corporate clients
as well as internal management.
This position is open to candidates looking to excel in a career as a Lead
Software Developer with great opportunities for corporate advancement to product
and technology management in a software company. Occasional international and/or
domestic travel may be required.
Required Skills:
- Experience with ColdFusion 8+, Fusebox Framework, Web 2.0 with Dynamic HTML,
AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS
- MS SQL Server, Relational Database Modeling, Large Volume Data Import/Export
- Data Processing and Parsing, Batch Data Processing
- Data Import/Export from External Systems (i.e. Banner, BlackBoard Vista)
- Excellent coding practices (strong documentation)
- Software QA and development methodologies (i.e. CMMI)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing team members remotely
