CONTRACT TO HIRE ROLE ONLY US CITIZENS AND GREEN CARD HOLDERS
Description
The Analyst is responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging,
maintaining and documenting of ColdFusion Web applications in accordance to
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Analysts participate in
the application technical design process and help complete estimates and work
plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The analyst
also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are
delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The
Analyst strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and
practices.
Education/Experience
3 – 5 years of experience in adjacent technologies.
4 - 6 years of experience in systems analysis, design or programming and the
associated development methodologies with medium size or medium level complexity
projects
Prior experience with project planning with medium size or medium level
complexity projects
Experience with Connect_Direct processes
IS related associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree, or comparable work
experience in an Information Systems position or related business position
Required Skills
ColdFusion 8 or above
ColdFusion MVC Framework
ColdFusion ORM – (i.e. Transfer or CF9-ORM)
ColdFusion CFC’s
SQL Server using T-SQL
Eclipse
JavaScript
Knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as Jquery or EXTJS
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in systems analysis, design, programming and the
associated development methodologies
Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate
information to customers and to all levels within the organization.
Ability to interact well in a team environment
Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires (Test selected based on
project requirements).
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with appropriate teams to deliver software solutions according to SDLC
best practices
Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies.
Provide support for applications, including involvement with the appropriate
teams. Provide off-hours support (24x7) as required.
Test application enhancement and development changes
Establish priorities for enhancements/modifications of application
Participate in the application technical design process
Develop functional specifications for enhancements/modifications of application
Develop programming specifications, design, code and unit test application code
Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development,
implementation and rollout tasks
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without
