ColdFusion Developer Position in Cincinnati, OH

HERE’S WHAT WE NEED…
Someone who possesses:
• SQL Server using T-SQL
• Eclipse
• JavaScript
• ColdFusion 8 or above
• ColdFusion MVC Framework
• ColdFusion ORM – (i.e. Transfer or CF9-ORM)
• ColdFusion CFC’s
• Knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as Jquery or EXTJS
• IS related associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree, or comparable work
experience in an Information Systems position or related business position
• Minimum of 3 years experience in systems analysis, design, programming and the
associated development methodologies
• Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate
information to customers and to all levels within the organization
• Ability to interact well in a team environment
• Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires (Test selected based on
project requirements)
Someone who is willing to:
• Partner with appropriate teams to deliver software solutions according to SDLC
best practices
• Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies.
Provide support for applications, including involvement with the appropriate
teams. Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required
• Test application enhancement and development changes
• Establish priorities for enhancements/modifications of application
• Participate in the application technical design process
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements/modifications of application
• Develop programming specifications, design, code and unit test application code
• Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development,
implementation and rollout tasks
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or
without reasonable accommodation
Some desirable skills would be:
• Prior experience with project planning with medium size or medium level
complexity projects
• Experience with Connect Direct processes
• 3 - 5 years of experience in technologies similar to ColdFusion
• 4 - 6 years of experience in systems analysis, design, or programming and the
associated development methodologies with medium size or medium level complexity
projects
The position description is:
• This person will be expected to participate in the application technical design
process and help complete estimates and work plans for design, development,
implementation, and rollout tasks. The analyst will be responsible for the
design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting of
ColdFusion Web applications in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) best practices. The analyst also communicates with the appropriate teams
to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in
accordance to standards. The analyst will strive to continuously improve the
software delivery processes and practices.
