Overview
The Cold Fusion Sr. Programmer position is a senior programmer on our team who
has experience in large scale enterprise projects involving large amounts of
data. Our company is 15 years old with offices in the US as well as the Far East
and development team at both locations. We build enterprise grade web
applications used by our clients on a global basis. The Sr Programmer will be
responsible for helping guide the development process to a successful conclusion,
on time and on budget or better.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
? Interface between development team and client to define client requirements
o Define programming specification
o Define development plan
o Keep the project on track both in terms of timeline as well as costs
? Client side duties:
o Help client define requirements
o Making sure that development stays on schedule and on budget
o Update client with status updates through Project Manager
? Internal team duties
o Translate client requirements into clearly defined technical requirements
o Establish project plan
o Maintain so project plan stays on schedule and on budget
o Report to internal stakeholders status updates
? Work with the documentation team to ensure correct implementation of the
Functional Specifications and will build the product based on the FS.
? Work with the documentation team to ensure that Technical and System
Requirements Specifications are updated and proper version control is maintained
? Work with both client and technical team to ensure that any questions are
promptly answered so that development can proceed on schedule.
Job Qualifications
1. Education
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field/experience.
2. Experience
Must have experience in technical proficiencies noted below. Experience in
managing large databases is required.
3. Supervisory experience
No supervisory experience required.
4. Technical proficiencies
Proficiency in Project Management software and drawing tools (e.g. Visio) is a
plus. Technical proficiency in:
? Cold Fusion
? Java Scripts and JQuery
? MS SQL -- database
? Flax experience a plus
? Experienced in writing programming specifications and requirements
5. Communication skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
6. Decision making
Good decision making skills required.
7. Other competencies or skills
Prefer strong team player. Project management experience a plus. Must have a
strong work ethic.
8. Background checks or licensing requirements

9. Preferences
Applicants who have project management/development and drawing software (e.g.

Physical Requirements
