Hi,John Barrett 09/20/08 10:33 P > When I download the ColdFusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse fromDave Watts 09/20/08 10:51 P Hi Dave,John Barrett 09/20/08 11:12 P Hi, Let me start by saying I am a complete newbie with Linux. I am using Ubuntu 8.04, running CF 8,and using eclipse and cfeclipse for my IDE. I got eclipse and cfeclipse set up and running, and I am trying to get the RDS support working, and I am completely lost. When I download the ColdFusion 8 Extensions for Eclipse from adobe (http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads.html), I extract the files (site.xml, and folders plugins, and features). What do I do now? I have found eclipse on my machine which is in I think /usr/lib/eclipse Where do I put these files? does features go into features,a plugins go into plugins, and what about site.ml? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am lost. Thanks so much, John ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- You don't have to extract anything. Use the Help ... Software Updates ... Find and Install option. The zip file is an archved site.
