The program itself won't get that far. It says RDC (not responding). I can connect Remote Desktop from my PC on my home network to a remote PC (my laptop, sitting at the office). ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Not that it helps, but I used RDP on my PC laptop for quite some time. About two months ago it just stopped working and I switched to VNC. I wonder if you and I got hit with the same thing. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Well ignore me. I removed Norton a few weeks ago and I think that cleared it up. Norton is now officially banned from all my PCs. Could you potentially have Norton on the PC? Also, where do you download the client for macs? ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Try http://appzapper.com/ before reinstall. I finally got Remote Desktop Connection on OS X working over the weekend. I found a mention on one site to try it using another Mac account and then copy over the settings from that account to my main account if it worked. I created a new Mac account, was able to use RDC from that account, copied the Library/Preferences/Microsoft files to a shared location, switched back to my usual account, copied and pasted over those files to the Library of the regular Mac account. That fixed it, and I am able to use it again without any problems (other than losing my settings, which is not that big of a deal). ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
