setting up DB connection with ColdFusion & MySQL

Its fine, But you might want to make note that most of the time your database will have a username and password. Also if you plan on inserting UTF8 data inot mySql you need a few extra settings that you don't need for MS SQL.  The first time this happend to me it took a long time to work out.  Sean Corfield made a past about it so I thought I'd link it here aswell. http://corfield.org/blog/index.cfm/do/blog.entry/entry/How_many_pieces_are_t here_in_the_UTF8_puzzle Paul.
