Hi all, We've installed ColdFusion 9 on a Mac running OSX 10.6. We've installed an ODBC driver and can successfully communicate with the database using the ODBC Manager on OSX. However in the admin panel for ColdFusion on the machine there is no option for the ODBC socket. Has anyone seen this before and has any advice? Thanks, David

I tried to set this up myself a long time ago, but was not able to, and started using MySQL. I used Navicat for the free trial to convert the access to MySQL. Maybe some others will have better ideas. Johnny

FileMaker 11 ... Just got the issue resolved setting up a JDBC connection, but not still not sure why the ODBC would not show up in CF. On 12-04-24 5:57 PM, "Andrew Scott" <andrews@andyscott.id.au> wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

When you installed ColdFusion did the ODBC option show up? Not being a mac user myself I don't even know if CF supports it on a Mac. -- Regards, Andrew Scott WebSite: http://www.andyscott.id.au/ Google+: http://plus.google.com/108193156965451149543 On Wed, Apr 25, 2012 at 8:01 AM, david@hind-smith.com <david@hind-smith.com>wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
