Coldfusion service ccmgr exe

It's part of the included ClusterCATS software. If you're not using the
ClusterCATS monitoring stuff (such as probes) you could just turn it off
altogether.

You might consider upgrading to a supported version of CF. CF 5 is pretty
old. I wouldn't be too surprised if your problem is specific to Windows
Server 2003.

Sorry if this ranks down in the remedial class of Coldfusion issues, this
service, ccmgr.exe is running pretty hot (it appears) on our internal web server.
By pretty hot I mean at a fairly constant 50% processor utilisation. This looks
wrong. Before simply restarting it, could someone advise me
a)What does it do?
b)Should is be running this hot?
c)Any potential pitfalls in a restart of this service? (Is there any point in
restartin it?)
