On the server itself, it is great, fast, and reliable.  When accessing from another computer on the network by entering "http://[server name]:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm", it is slooooow to load.  I suspect a DNS issue, but can't be sure.  Has anyone else run into this problem?

Is it not slow when you use the IP address instead of the server name? Try using the IP, like "http://[ipadres]:8500/cfide/administrator/index.cfm" If that loads faster, it's name resolution (DNS, WINS, etc). If you experience the same slowness, it might be your network (firewall, WAN, LAN,etc), or maybe even some kind of software firewall/packet filter that's slowing down the connection.  Try a tracert if it's not a straight shot to your box.
