When accessing from another computer on the network by entering "http://[server name]:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm", it is slooooow to load. I suspect a DNS issue, but can't be sure. Has anyone else run into this problem? > On the server itself, it is great, fast, and reliable. Dave Watts, CTO, Fig Leaf Software http://www.figleaf.com/ http://training.figleaf.com/ Fig Leaf Software is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) on GSA Schedule, and provides the highest caliber vendor-authorized instruction at our training centers, online, or onsi Try using the IP, like "http://[ipadres]:8500/cfide/administrator/index.cfm" If that loads faster, it's name resolution (DNS, WINS, etc). If you experience the same slowness, it might be your network (firewall, WAN, LAN,etc), or maybe even some kind of software firewall/packet filter that's slowing down the connection. Try a tracert if it's not a straight shot to your box. Brian Dancer wrote: > On the server itself, it is great, fast, and reliable.
