Dear Stockholder :: from E*TradeMarc, Well, there's *always* the element of speculation with stocks like Allaire's, especially in unsettled times like this with people taking a wait and see attitude about the pending merger. But, to answer your question, you might want to keep an eye on your cost basis (if you've only purchased ALLR once), or your average cost (if you've purchased more than once). If you can pick up shares below (or *substantially* below) your cost basis/average cost, then it might not be a bad deal. So, if your cost basis is $9, look to buy if it drops below that (frankly, I don't think it will move a whole lot between now and the merger unless the whole NASDAQ moves significantly). Also, keep an eye on MACR's share price and expect to see ALLR move up or down with MACR as we approach the merger date. If MACR drops, ALLR will probably drop some too. Just my opinion, I'm not a professional trader. Good luck!
