Okay, now I *know* I saw this code on hereYou mean something like this perhaps? ReplaceNoCase(originalString, matchString, "<span style='background:yellow'>#matchString#</span>", "ALL") -Novak > Once upon a week or so ago, a discussion was going on, I believe about some sort of search mechanism, and buried among the discussion was a throwaway statement, something to the effect of, "and you could even do this to highlight the search string in the body of output text:"...then some nifty code...and now darn it, I go and end up needin to see how to do *just* that very thing, and now I can't find it, lol, I've gone thru like, the last week of posts and my eyeballs are dry...does anyone happen to remember that, or better yet, have a general idea how to approach that? I kinda have an idea, but it's not working, and I actually got the inspiration from that thread...only I can't remember where it was...I see it every now and then, your phrase is styled with a red background for the phrase maybe, of what your query string was. I also thought it'd be a nifty debugging tool... > |
