Good day everybody. OK, I've been sitting on my copy of 4.5 for months now, deathly afraid to install it on my server (my if it ain't broke, don't fix it mentality). :) Now that SP2 is out, does anyone have any negative opinions on 4.51sp2 compared to 4.01? Are there any glaring (or not so glaring) bugs to look out for? Any installation tips? TIA for any feedback. -- Bud Schneehagen - Tropical Web Creations _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ ColdFusion Solutions / eCommerce Development buddy@twcreations.com http://www.twcreations.com/ 954.721.3452 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox. I have been using 4.5 without any problems for about a month now.  It seems to work fine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- LEGAL DISCLAIMER -- This message and any attachments to it is intended only for the individual or company to which it is addressed and may contain information which is privileged, confidential or prohibited from disclosure or unauthorised use. 4.5 is the same but better, I haven't had any problems installing it on any of our 2000 servers. Though we are still running 4.0 on a couple of NT servers for the same reason. Anyway, if 5.0 is on schedule (1H), we are going to have to upgrade again very soon... You going to make it to CF South Bud? jon ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox. I don't even want to THINK about 5.0. LOL >You going to make it to CF South Bud? I'd like to. Money's a little tight now, as usual. Heck, I didn't even hear about it until January and there is a "late registration" fee of 20 bucks on top of the regular 100 bucks if you register after 12/29. -- Bud Schneehagen - Tropical Web Creations _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ ColdFusion Solutions / eCommerce Development buddy@twcreations.com http://www.twcreations.com/ 954.721.3452 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox. Are there any glaring (or not so glaring) > bugs to look out for? Any installation tips? We upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.5.1 to a while ago, and then to 4.5.2 without any real problems - we had to check the Mappings, Mail settings and CFX tags (lost some on one of the servers), but apart from that, it went without a hitch...
