hi all.
I have an sql question.
I have a table that has 13+ million rows in it and I need to change the
datatype
of the column from text to varchar (long story and it not my fault!!
ARGGHHHH) anyway
its timing out, locking, blah blah blah, is there any quicker/better way
to do this
other than using enterprise manager, and the design table menu function?
should I use alter table?
