Not able to start the ColdFusion MX Application Server from servi ces

Hi, I am not able to start the coldfusion application service. Giving following error.. "The ColdFusion MX Application Server service terminated with service-specific error 2. "  Could not start ColdFusion MX Application Server  on local computer.." Any ideas ? Thanks ramesh

I have gotten this error many times, each time I have solved it by rebooting several times. You should check your cf default log for a more specific error should be in [drive]:\[cf dir]\runtime\logs Tyler Clendenin GSL Solutions ces. Also what version of CF are you using? IIRC there were some pre red-sky issues which would result in the service not starting. Had this myself. Ramesh, I had to go into Control Panel\add-remove programs\microsoft windows componets and uncheck Internet enhanced security option.. Rebooted and it came right up Hope this helps .. Matt ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
