ColdFusion Talk (CF-Talk)
SOLVED: <CFTREE> works on ColdFusion MX but not on ColdFusion 5???

Christine,
That ended up being part of the issue. The article didn't solve it
completely (and it's written pretty poorly also...it talks about setting
up a mapping in CF Admin, but it means the webserver). It ended up that
someone had copied the /cfide directory to the D:\ drive where all of
the web files sat and for some reason those files didn't work correctly.
They all appeared to be there and up to date, but still no luck. I
ended up creating a /cfide mapping in IIS to point to the
C:\CFUSION\CFIDE directory that was created with the install and it
worked fine. I'm still not sure why the copies on the D:\ drive didn't
work because all of the .cab and .jar files were there that needed to
be.

Hi John,
Check out this article:

Christine
I'm using <CFTREE> on a development box that is CFMX and when I move the
code to a CF 5 server, I get the following error:
Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
allaire.controls2.CFTreeApplet.class
This is in a gray box like it's a java error instead of a CF error. Is
this something on the server? How do I fix this? The error happens for
all clients when connecting to the CF5 box, but when connecting to CFMX
it works fine. Please help.
John
