Providers Ignoring DNS TTL?

Did anyone catch this on /.? http://ask.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/04/18/198259&tid=95&tid=128&tid=4 If this is true, how can I find out how long it will be for some one like AOL to update their DNS? -- Phillip B.

Yeah, I saw that. In principle is really sucks, but we did an IP address change a couple of months ago and within a couple of days traffic was back to normal levels and we didn't get complaints.  I don't have a specific answer for you for AOL though.   Mark Did anyone catch this on /.? http://ask.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/04/18/198259&tid=95&tid=128&tid=4 If this is true, how can I find out how long it will be for some one like AOL to update their DNS? -- Phillip B.
