I see that this tag now will retain the EXIF metadata upon resizing an image.
Will it also retain the IPTC information? Hopefully it will as it is extremely
important to keep the photographer's name associate with an image. If not, is
there some imagesizer that will? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I installed the update and tested this. It does save any IPTC info too.
