I have been working on a web-based SQL Server database management utility written in jQuery/ColdFusion in my spare time over the past few weeks. Anyone who is interested, please check it out at: http://www.nucomsolutions.com/dbDiscover I'm looking for folks to help me put a few new sets of eyes on it. I know there is a ton of functionality missing, but I have most of the basics down. I'm looking to give this puppy away for free when it is in decent production-level working condition. Anyone interested in helping out? If you want to develop on the app, too, that would be awesome :) I'm open to anything! Thanks! Anyone who is > interested, please check it out at: Looks like it could be interesting, do you have a sample server/user/pw we could use to check it out (or code to download so we can run it locally)? Our database servers are firewalled to the outside world and I wouldn't dream of putting our SQL credentials into an outside system like this. I would like to see it in action though. -Justin I'd be happy to test it out. We currently use MyLittleAdmin, which is the only other web based MSSQL management tool and is very good , so you should use this for reference. An error message would pop up identifying my mistake, but then when I clicked "ok" to go back and correct the error, the form for entering a column had disappeared. Is that supposed to happen? I would think that the "alert" would disappear, then the form would reappear. Rick (Sorry, forgot the demo URL...) Everything seems to be accessible now. Thanks, Paul ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Rick, I have fixed that error. Apparantly I was a little loose on how I was sending back errors. That has been standardized now, and errors should be working correctly (buh dum dum). Thanks, Paul ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more ----- Result of some quick monkeytesting (see screenshot) - clicking function icon many times and then hitting reload object browser. The app stopped working at that moment. Also, clikcing on function-icons creates many tabs but with a lot of lag. Some tabs only appear after some 30 seconds... And then all of a sudden the thabs are sequenced with a left/right navitem. When many tabs are open and a new tab is created all tabs are first shown as in screenshot and then they are arranged again in sequence. Good luck with the bugz ;-) Sebastiaan ================================= So long and thanx 4 all the fish ==> Onlinebase.nl ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
