Although the user accounts are stored in the neo-security.xml file, the passwords are hashed, and I would suspect that the hash is different on different machines. Also, simply editing the neo-security.xml doesn't change the setting in CFAdmin from single user to multiple individual users. If it was just one server that we have to administrate this way, I wouldn't worry about it. But we've got many, and I'd rather not go through the labor to set this up on each one manually. Any advice? Cheers, Kris You can use use the ColdFusion Archive to export the settings from one server and import them to the other servers. or you could give this a go, which I think also allows you to sync your settings between multiple servers, http://www.merlinmanager.com/ -- Russ Michaels www.bluethunderinternet.com : Business hosting services & solutions www.cfmldeveloper.com : ColdFusion developer community www.michaels.me.uk : my blog www.cfsearch.com : ColdFusion search engine ** *skype me* : russmichaels On my local Standard developer edition, the ColdFusion Archive does not provide the option to include user logins in the archive. Is this something that is only provided for enterprise? You should have the option to include them in Developer, if you've enabled multiple user logins on your server. If you're using Standard (which on second thought seems quite unlikely) you won't have access to the CAR stuff at all, I believe.
