?So you are editing directly on the files that are in the dev server webroot?  That will take some getting used to.  I am used to editing locally and them pushing the files to the dev server for testing. ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----

Yes, but the dev server is on my laptop, so I am "editing locally". I can then directly test the script on my laptop, then when I'm done I can check everything back into source control, etc. Dave Watts, CTO, Fig Leaf Software http://www.figleaf.com/ http://training.figleaf.com/ Fig Leaf Software is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) on GSA Schedule, and provides the highest caliber vendor-authorized instruction at our training centers, online, or onsite.

There are SVN, Git and Mercurial plugins for Eclipse. (Subclipse, EGit, MercurialPlugin respectively, although there are probably more.) Glad to hear I am not the only one who thinks that.  But then, I have been using Dreamweaver for for a long time.  CFB is a whole new world for me. On Sat, Jun 9, 2012 at 12:13 AM, Michael David <lists@michaeldavid.com>wrote: ----- Excess quoted text cut - see Original Post for more -----
